The panel was designed with the aim of retrofitting it on tunnel boring machines in such a way that it is functional and easy to use. All inlets are protected with one-way valves, while the air-only inlet has two (2) one-way valves to meet applicable codes. All connections are compatible with our MSS100 Mobile Oxygen Breathing System. Should you find out in a project that the max. the working pressure has to be higher than planned, the panel can be connected to our mobile oxygen breathing system MSS100 at any time and the workers can be supplied with mixed gas.
All valves are 6000 Mk2 balanced needle valves, which regulate the flow in the panel to dispense an exact amount of gas or air. All hand valves are molded from rubber for easy grip and comfort. All 600er valves can be serviced from the front without disassembling the panel.
The storage cylinder inlet pressure gauges show 0-300bar and have an accuracy of 1.6%. The air inlet pressure gauge 0-400 bar. The panel is supplied with a pressure relief valve to 330 bar. The outlet pressure is displayed with the highly accurate DPM400 Mk2 digital display with an accuracy better than 0.5% to 400 bar, with a digit size of 18 mm.
The DPM has a specially regulated 220/240V power adapter which prevents the display from fluttering. Furthermore, a 150 mm analog display with an accuracy of 0.6% is installed. To reduce downtime, all calibrations can be performed without much effort.
