Manlocks can be mounted on any TBM, AVN, and pressure wall for air-locking personnel and materials. They allow specially trained personnel to enter the pressurized working chamber of TBM and AVN machines, as well as the entry at accesses for confessional pneumatic drives.

The equipment is especially air-conditioning systems for cooling and heating the manlock, mixed gas systems, and oxygen supply systems. On request, we can replace all components in your airlock, such as gate valves, ball valves, pressure gauges, or flow meters.

Safety
Protection in Case of Fire
To guarantee the safety of your staff even in the event of a fire, we equip manlocks with various fire extinguishing systems. On the one hand, these include hand-held fire extinguishers for the pre-chamber and main chamber that comply with the current regulations in force in your country and that have been specially designed for use in the hyperbaric room.
In addition, the manlock can be equipped with a Hyperlock sprinkler system, which requires an on-site water supply. The lock keeper can operate the system manually from the outside or from the inside at any time. It is possible in both cases to operate the sprinkler system for the main chamber and the pre-chamber individually.

For communication purposes, the manlock can be equipped with an intercom system as well as ex howl call telephones. The intercom can be used as a permanent means of communication. We install the additional ex howl call telephones inside and outside the airlock as standard. Four such devices are mounted on the back of the airlock, on the outer wall of the pre-chamber, in the main chamber, and on the front of the airlock. They can also be used as emergency phones, as the handset is battery and network-independant. This way, you can be sure that communication with your staff in the pressurized working chamber can always be ensured and that the staff can contact you in case of emergency.
